MUSIC INTERVIEW: Life On The Road With…Badflower

With the release of their debut album OK, I’M SICK and the recent announcement of their first ever UK show, there’s plenty of excitement surrounding Badflower. We caught up with the band to hear their top tips and stories from the road.

Favourite thing about touring:

Being able to perform for all of those who have really fallen in love with our music. We love meeting our fam.

Least favourite thing about touring:

Touring! It’s pretty hard to be away from home all the time.

Five essentials for the road:

A spice drawer, scented candles, a towel, a car jack and sharpies.

Your favourite way to pass the time:

We like to get out and explore each new city and first on the list is usually to find our new favourite vegan restaurant.

“The Most”

Memorable moment:

When Alex bled all over stage in Asbury Park!

Hilarious moment:

Anytime we leave someone behind at a gas station…it happens more than you think!

Embarrassing moment:

When we brought a guitar to an acoustic performance instead of our bass.

Outrageous moment:

Our last show with The Wrecks, everyone stripped down to their underwear and smeared each other with marshmallow fluff on stage.

Drunken moment:

Josh riding a bike all over San Diego in the middle of the night.

Rewarding moment:

It’s rewarding every night to perform Ghost and watch the fans respond to it. It’s a special one for us to play.

Badflower‘s debut album OK, I’M SICK is out now via Big Machine/John Varvatos Records, available to purchase or stream HERE.
