MUSIC NEWS: Employed To Serve Announce New Album Details & UK Tour Dates

Employed To Serve have confirmed that they’ll release their new album Eternal Forward Motion on 10th May via Spinefarm Records.

“Eternal Forward Motion came after 5 years of perfecting the kind of band that we wanted to be,” comments vocalist Justine Jones. “This is the album that defines who we are as a band and we couldn’t be prouder of it.”

The band will release the first single from the record, titled Force Fed, on Friday (25th January).

“When contemplating what the future holds for one’s self, it can be quite daunting thinking about whether you will ever be truly content with your life and the person that you are,” Jones says of the lyrical theme that runs through the forthcoming album. “In the fast paced society we live in, it can cause many people to burn out and chase unobtainable expectations of themselves. We are also now faced with the social media boom leading many people to be plagued by self-comparison and fear of missing out. All these distractions can cause one to dwell on what they don’t have and take for granted some the aspects of life that we should be thankful for each day.”

Employed To Serve have announced two headline shows in support of the new record, dates are as follows:

May

Fri 10th – LONDON – Garage
Sat 11th – GLASGOW – Classic Grand Lounge

You can also see the band live at Groezrock (BE), Hellfest (FR) and Jera On Air (NL), or alongside Raging Speedhorn and Loathe at Rebellion in Manchester on 29th March.
