MUSIC FEATURE: FVK Talk Touring

FVK aren’t shy of touring, which means that they must have some great stories to share with us right?! Luckily for us that is the case, so we had a chat to co-vocalist Kier Kemp about life on the road ahead of their tour with Escape The Fate.

Favourite thing about touring

It’s the time in which you feel most connected with your audience. Their support becomes tangible as you’re in their face.

Least favourite thing about touring

The lack of sleep. But hey, you can do that when you’re dead right?

Top 5 essential items

1. Wet Wipes
2. Tiny Hairdryer
3. Towel
4. Wireless Speaker
5. Gin

Best way to kill time on the road

I edit a lot of videos and watch “The Good Wife” on my laptop!

“The Mosts”:

Memorable moment

Being told we were playing Download 2015’s 2nd stage whilst on tour in Milan.

Hilarious moment

Luke fainting on stage we he wore a The Riddler costume.

Embarrassing thing to ever happen

How long have you got? I fall over a lot! And once I started the wrong song.

Disastrous moment

Drew ending up is Glaswegian A&E as he split his head open on stage!

Alcohol induced/drunken moment

Lots of nakedness. Gin + Kier = Nudity. Also the party boat to Finland. Ouch.

Outragous/jaw dropping moment

The reaction we had at Warped Tour UK last year!

Rewarding moment

Playing Download 2nd stage to nearly 10,000… hands down.
