Quarkie’s Audio Art headphones, designed by a mad man (we like to think), but actually made by the pros who dabble in the area of music (listening and writing) and electronic engineering. This line of headphones comes in many different designs, ranging from Rusty Bolt, Viper Head, Cat Eyes and more. You’re probably thinking to yourself “Oh yeah, it’s all about the look. Performance is probably terrible”, well couldn’t be more wrong; despite the funky designs, the headphone’s performance has not been tainted in any way, which is to be expected if it’s made by music lovers.
The sound is quality, with these bad boys, and is nothing short of amazing. Using 13.5mm drive units, exclusive aluminium voice coil and neodymium magnets, we’re given a set of headphones with crystal clear sound, low distortion and clear bass.
These also come with custom eartips ( XS, S, M, L), instructions on how to change and fit the buds on properly, sharing splitter and a function controller which is compatible with most mobile devices such as iPhones.
Over all, we’re left with great quality ear phones that are worth every penny and also stand out with their looks too! These bad boys retail around £69/$109 and can be found on the official website: www.quarkie.com.
