Just a few days ago Ellie Goulding announced details of her new album Halcyon, which is due October 8th through Polydor Records. Now, to tease everyone that little bit more she’s released an album trailer to give us more of an insight as to what to expect from album number two.
The 1:57 long video includes various clips of tracks from the new album, which range from electro beats to piano ballads. These coincide with images of Ellie shaking her hips in tight leather shorts, drinking a cup of tea and playing around in front of the camera.
Ellie has recently stated that the album has become somewhat of a break-up album following her split from Radio 1′s Greg James last year, despite this not being her original intentions. Ellie also recently released her cover of Active Child‘s Hanging On, featuring Tinie Tempah, which was available for free download.
