FILM NEWS: The Dark Knight Rises Competition and New Content

So we know you’re already unbelievably excited about The Dark Knight Rises, but today we have even more incredible new content to share with you! On top of that, too, we also have details of a fantastic competition, ahead of the film’s release on 20th July.

There’s the amazing Tumbler Designer App, where you can create your own Tumbler online, the awesome real time strategy game The Fire Rises, and stunning new banners and stills – as featured here. We’ve posted some new story info below too, but don’t look if you don’t want any spoilers!

But the best news for fans of Christopher Nolan‘s trilogy is that you could be one of a lucky few to see the latest in the franchise first!

On 18th July the film will have its European Premiere, and to coincide with this star studded event, The Dark Knight Rises will be screened in 29 cities around the country. To be in with a chance of attending one of these very special screenings, just ahead over to The Dark Knight Rises Facebook and enter the competition on the site.

In the latest release, Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures have confirmed:

“The Dark Knight Rises” is the epic conclusion to filmmaker Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight trilogy. It has been eight years since Batman vanished into the night, turning, in that instant, from hero to fugitive. Assuming the blame for the death of D.A. Harvey Dent, the Dark Knight sacrificed everything for what he and Commissioner Gordon both hoped was the greater good. For a time the lie worked, as criminal activity in Gotham City was crushed under the weight of the anti-crime Dent Act. But everything will change with the arrival of a cunning cat burglar with a mysterious agenda. Far more dangerous, however, is the emergence of Bane, a masked terrorist whose ruthless plans for Gotham drive Bruce out of his self-imposed exile. But even if he dons the cape and cowl again, Batman may be no match for Bane.

So make sure you enter the competition to be in with a chance of seeing the epic Batman finale before any of your friends!
