Who: Fearless Vampire Killers
Where: Originally Waveney Valley, currently living in London
What: Death pop
About: Fearless Vampire Killers are known by most for their quirky style and excess make-up but in reality they are a whole lot more. Rather than being just another band to jump on the vampire bandwagon, nothing the band do is expected and it’s difficult to pigeon hole them with influences ranging from Weezer to Danny Elfman. Their recently released debut album Militia Of The Lost is a concept record based in the fictional land of Grandomina, focusing on love, loss and addiction. The risk of a concept album to starts paying off when you hear tracks such as their current single Could We Burn, Darling? whose video is adorning Kerrang! and Scuzz channels. One of the focal points of interest are the dual vocalists Kier Kemp and Laurence Beveridge, who give the band the diversity to keep their listeners interested and peers intrigued.
Verdict: They are fast, furious, theatrical and chaotic (in a good way) if you give them a listen you won’t be disappointed.
For Fans Of: My Chemical Romance, Panic! At The Disco and Queen.
