The catwalks are usually about fashion and clothes, but QVC has now made it all about the face with their Facewalk catwalk show.
The beauty industry is one of the biggest growing industries in the UK, and this exclusive show was put together to celebrate June Beauty Month. It catwalk was focused around beauty and make up, and shunned catwalk supermodels, in favour of new British faces.
The show was set in complete darkness, with spotlight being focused carefully on models faces, which showed make up looks that were both classic and extreme. The looks were named aptly, including ‘Geisha’ and ‘Space’, and were made using make up brands available on QVC, such as Jemma Kidd and Bobbi Brown.
The aim of the show was to show customers the extent to which they can use the products and just how far they can push the boundaries when applying make-up. QVC gives step by step guide on how to use the products, live on air, as well as tips and technique.
