Shoe brand, Pointer, release their Spring/Summer 2012 women’s collection. The Sunbury collection is aimed to bring back those glorious warm summer beach days, spent at the beach. Pointer were initially launched in 2004 and the aim was to create a casual and simple pair of shoes that can be worn by anyone, and for any occasion.
The shoes have a nostalgic feel to them, with their washed out canvas. Colours included are perfect nautical colours, such as navy and Prussian blue. There are six new models included in this new collection, as well as slight modern updates on their more classic shoes. The key collections includes: the Athena – in tanned leather, with a leather strap; the Darcy ballet flat – in full kidskin leather; the Corey in a lovely Mary Jane style; the Patricia – a summery espadrille; the Elsie – which comes in six colour-ways and in soft suede; and the Hannah – another espadrille, in a soft washed canvas made for those beach walks.
The espadrille styles, in particular are set to do very well this summer, and the shoes also contain extra detailing such as buckles and rope laces.
