UK independent horror film The Addicted has two brand new trailers, and a terrifying new poster.
Directed by newcomer Sean J Vincent, the film is set at The Manor Drug Rehab Unit, and, as the title of the film suggests, David, a resident of the Rehab Centre in 1987, is ‘The Addicted.’ He is forced heroin by a Clinical Director Chris Hunter (who is having an affair with David’s wife), and finally Chris poisons his victim with contaminated heroin, causing David severe facial disfigurement, chronic pain, and ultimately leading to his suicide.
25 years later though, and The Addicted now follows Chris’s daughter Nicole (Jenny Gayner) and her first steps into television journalism. Her boyfriend Adam (Sean J Vincent) suggests they film in the now derelict Drug Rehab unit, spending the night there with friends to try and capture on film the recent sightings of paranormal activity. But as they enter The Manor, it becomes obvious they are not alone.
