Thrash metal titans Megadeth will be playing a special intimate show at the Electric Ballroom in Camden on Tuesday June 12th, a couple of days after their scheduled set at Download.
After storming Sonisphere last year with a set to match the rest of the big 4, Dave Mustaines troupe will be capitalising on the success of their latest album, ‘Th1rt3en’. This will also be a second chance to witness Dave Ellefson as a permanent bassist in the band once again.
The show is a huge treat for us, and after the amazing display from Anthrax at Islington Academy a few weeks back, we can’t wait to see another legendary band throw down in London.
The show is also being dedicated to the recently deceased Jim Marshall, creator of the legendary Marshall Amp. Mustaine had this to say: “It will be great to play for some of our oldest and dearest Londoner friends, but more importantly, I would like to dedicate this show to the memory of my dear friend, Dr. Jim Marshall OBE.”
Tickets went on sale this morning and this will go like hotcakes so go get them now from here!
