Young Guns ‘Sons of Apathy’

Young Guns ‘Sons of Apathy’

This band have always proved themselves more than worthy of an acclaimed rock title, with their live performances setting free their songs and letting us all in to become entranced and impassioned by their conviction and screaming talent on stage, we’re looking to see them swiftly climb the ranks within the industry.

With their new single ‘Sons of Apathy’, proving to be a insight into the real heart and soul of front man Gustav Wood, set upon a bed of irreplaceably empowering riffs, it longs you to lay in this irrepressibly powerful song and roll around in it’s sheets, embracing the raw emotion within it. The talent this band has to place upon the music world is yet to be fully appreciated.

The lyrics evoked by Gustav’s angst towards his lack of father figure look to empower individuals, presenting the capability and opportunity to aspire to your own goals not to those of others, whilst hitting home the real lack of inspirational figures set by today’s society. The song links closely to meaning behind the album title ‘All Our Kings Are Dead’ and has set the mark for the album’s further releases.

With new album ‘All Our Kings Are Dead’, out on July 12th this song has left us stood with our tongues dangling in anticipation for the follow up track. Having supported Bon Jovi on his recent tour this looks to be a promising year for one of our most talented British exports. Young Guns worth to do well is continuously proven by their talent and commitment to both their music and their fans. 8/10
