ALBUM REVIEW: Maybeshewill – Fair Youth
We must admit that we were expecting good things from Maybeshewill’s fourth full length album but what we weren’t expecting was to be completely blown away. It seems the Leicestershire quintet have really outdone themselves this time around. The untitled intro provides a soft, building wall of ambience to prepare you for the 50 minutes of sonic bliss that lies ahead. It’s clear from the outset that this is the sort of music that relaxes and uplifts, ideal after a long day facing the outside world. As we move swiftly onto In Amber, the flourish of strings, a mesmerizing grand piano ...
EP REVIEW: Heel – Stranger Just The Same
Photo Credit: Darren Rowley Photography London alt-rocker quartet Heel are following up their debut self-titled release with Stranger Just The Same. We at Bring The Noise love a bit of diversity and the quartet are doing just this; with a pop-rock edge shown throughout it’s ticking all of our boxes. The release opens with Stranger, without any hesitation the track is set alight with blazing guitar lines and driving heavy drum lines, creating a pop-rock vibe. Vocals provided by Margarita (Maggie) are a refreshing, unique touch with them incomparable to other artists as they glide perfectly alongside the musical backing. With the ...

GAMES NEWS: H1Z1 Airdrops Detailed
You can question the wisdom of continuing development of a game largely considered a clone of a hit PC title, especially when you've recently announced a port of that beloved game, but Sony are clearly planning on hedging their bets. It’s been one hell of a 2014 for Lonely The Brave. The quintet signed a worldwide deal with Columbia which saw them push back the release of their eagerly anticipated debut full-length The Day’s War, they’ve ticked off almost every major festival in the UK this summer and they’ve shared the stage with none other than Deftones. We caught up with bassist Andrew Bushen to discuss the new record, what birthed their unique sound and more.
They may have been labeled as party animals in the past, but as they begin to grow up The Defiled are starting to take a slightly different approach to being in a band. We caught up with Stitch D at Sonisphere Festival to talk about playing what they want, crowd funding and how they’re coping with half of the band relocating to US shores.
